The Baltimore Ravens employ one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson. Coming off of the richest deal in NFL history, Jackson has plenty of high expectations to his name as he looks to bring another Super Bowl trophy back to Baltimore.
When placing each starting quarterback in the NFL into tiers, Will Brinson of CBS Sports ended up not putting Jackson into the top echelon of signal callers named “The Big Three”, but instead right below them in “Could Join Them Next Year”. Brinson said that Jackson could have a “quick move up” if a healthy year and a new offense benefits him in a big way.
“For Jackson, the pedigree is there as a former MVP and being locked in long term helps, as does the addition of Todd Monken as Ravens OC. Injuries are a fair complaint here the last two seasons; it wouldn’t shock me to see a monster year from Lamar and a quick move up.”
