The 2022 NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, which is a prime opportunity for teams to improve. When listing off one trade that each NFL team should make ahead of the deadline, Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports highlighted Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore for Baltimore. He mentioned how Carolina is unlikely to trade the wideout, but his acquisition could propel the Ravens’ passing attack.
“Carolina shouldn’t — and likely won’t — trade its No. 1 target, but that doesn’t mean the Ravens shouldn’t try their darndest. Besides Moore’s local ties, coming out of Maryland, he would instantly give Lamar Jackson the best all-around receiver of the MVP QB’s career, helping propel an erratic aerial attack that lacks a true alpha out wide.”
