Cate Blanchett leads star studded new season at the National Theatre

Tickets to see Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett in a new National Theatre production will go on sale this May, the venue has announced.

The acclaimed Australian actress, 56, a two-time Oscar winner for her roles in The Aviator and Blue Jasmine, is set to star in the world premiere of Benedict Andrews’ Electra/Persona. She will be joined on stage by Hedda’s Nina Hoss and Black Doves star Ella Lily Hyland.
