When faced with a busy, sunny and sometimes sticky-hot season, adding products to your routine that are low-effort and multi-tasking is a must, and for Cat Deeley, this tinted lip serum has been a summertime staple.
Taking to Instagram, the This Morning star shared a carousel of images that sum up her 'British summertime' so far, from freshly cut rhubarb to drinks in the garden. But between all the sunny garden snaps and chic floral dresses, we spied one very hardworking and plumping lip product: the Laneige Glaze Craze tinted lip serum. Like many of the other best tinted lip balms, this glossy formula offers a wash of sheer, buildable colour, but it's also available in an array of delicious, doughnut-inspired scents - to which we can attest, having used them first-hand.
Its inclusion among Deeley's standout summery moments speaks to what an essential it has been for her this season, and we think we've deduced the exact shade she's been wearing.
If you're on the hunt for a new lip balm or gloss, this Laneige serum offers the best of both worlds. It's enriched with nourishing and plumping ingredients like polypeptide and argan ceramides, and offers a range of flattering, high-shine tints - though Deeley is a fan of this strawberry-pink hue.
While we do have a lot of love for the best long-lasting lipsticks, when summer rolls around, we find ourselves steering away from matte formulas in favour of sheer, non-sticky balms and glosses. Laneige's Glaze lip serums are the perfect in-between, offering hydration and a plumping, syrupy shine, as well as a stylish tint.
You can find a range of shades, from Cinnamon Sugar, a warm, rosy-brown shade, to the vibrant and aptly named Blueberry Jelly hue. From the looks of it (see slide nine on her Instagram post), Deeley has 'Strawberry Sprinkles,' which, as the name suggests, offers a cool-pink tint - inspired by the signature pink icing on a strawberry doughnut.
