Castle Douglas foodbank receives funding boost from Masonic Lodge

Stepping Stones Foodbank in Castle Douglas has been handed a funding boost.

Castle Douglas Masonic Lodge treasurer Alan McWilliam recently handed over a cheque for £500 to the organisation’s Helen Cockburn.

It’s the third £500 donation the lodge has made to the foodbank in less than two years.

On a national level, the Grand Lodge of Scotland has now raised £1.1 million for Prostate Scotland.
