Celtic look like they won't be getting target Casper Tengstedt in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Rosenborg forward, who has reportedly taken the interest of the Scottish champions in recent weeks, looks set to join Portuguese giants Benfica - the club that Celtic signed star man Jota from in the summer. It appears Tengstedt had been on a list of targets for Ange Postecoglou after it was revealed Giorgos Giakoumakis could soon leave Glasgow, with South Korean forward Cho Gue-sung a strong contender.
The 22-year-old Danish forward himself admitted that he was aware of Celtic's interest, but now it appears Benfica representatives are in London to discuss a move to Portugal, after the striker did not train with Rosenborg in their pre-season camp in Gran Canaria.

According to TV2 Sport and confirming reports in Lisbon the Champions League outfit will shelve out around £8.3m for his signature. He moved to the Norwegian outfit for around £1m in the summer, with this deal potentially breaking the club's record fee received.
Meanwhile Celtic's hunt for Korean Gue-sung appears to have hit an impasse with MLS outfit Minnesota United reportedly trumping the Hoops bid of £3m with an offer to Jeonbuk for around £4.2m.
