The Casa Amor section of this season's Love Island journey finally came to an end following an intense recoupling on Wednesday when the girls returned to the main villa.
Last week Casa Amor was teased as bringing 'the biggest twist in Love Island history.'
And when the girls returned to the 'other' villa on Wednesday it was time to find out who had stayed loyal.
The Islanders were asked by host Maya Jama if they wanted to stick or twist.
In the shock recoupling, Sammy picked Amber, Whitney came back with Lochlan, Zachariah recoupled with Molly leaving Kady single, Montel and Leah stuck together, Catherine came back with Elom, leaving Scott single, Mitch recoupled with Abi and Jess came back alone, Ella came back with Ouzy and Tyrique is now single.
Following the brutal dumpings from the villa some of this year's Islanders had plenty to say.
When asked how it felt to be leaving the infamous Casa Amor, Ben Noel said: "It’s bittersweet, I did my best to speak to most of the girls and explore connections. I was very relaxed about it though but I feel like I did the best that I could do. I’m feeling good, feeling positive and have no regrets."
With Zach adding: "I met friends for life but of course it’s disappointing to be leaving. It was an unbelievable experience"
When describing her Casa Amor experience, Tink said: "Obviously it is sad to be leaving, especially because it’s short and sweet but that’s to be expected with Casa Amor.
"I was still shocked as I didn’t expect it from what I thought was the genuine connection I had with Montel, so I was 90% sure I would stay. "
And Gabby Jeffrey added: "It’s sad to leave my new best friends behind but I also do feel like I didn’t make a deep connection there and I didn’t want to force things, so I did everything I wanted to do."
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX each weeknight and Sundays at 9pm.
