Residents of a Scottish street have woken up to their cars underwater as heavy flooding hits the country.
Images show four cars sinking into flood water, with owners making the horrible discovery this morning. The cars, on Kilmacolm Road in Greenock, have been submerged under water which is thought to be around one meter deep, reports the Daily Record.
Travel disruption has broken out across the region today as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for rain which remains in place until 2pm today.

Railways and roads have been impacted, with ScotRail running a reduced service with only a small number of routes. Train tracks have been flooded in many areas, with areas known for flooding and having pumps installed becoming overwhelmed by the sheer amount of water.
Greenock West train station is completely flooded, with the water having made it's way inside the waiting room of the station.
All services on the North Clyde route, which connects Glasgow to the West of Scotland, have been cancelled.
