Carrickfergus restaurant owner thanks community for support after kitchen fire

The owner of a popular restaurant in Carrickfergus has thanked emergency services and the local community for their support after a kitchen fire.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, PSNI and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene of the blaze at The Windrose Bar and Bistro just after 12pm on Sunday, September 25.

Four fire appliances and one specialist were called to the scene and were able to keep the fire contained and under control. Police confirmed there were no reports of any serious injuries.
