Carrick Rangers boss Stuart King has bolstered his squad with the double loan signing of Accrington Stanley duo Tom Scully and Matty Carson.
Midfielder Scully, who has made 10 appearances for the League One club, and left back Carson have both been signed until the end of the season.
They are unavailable for Tuesday night’s home league clash with Ballymena United but could make their debut at Dungannon Swifts on Saturday.
Carrick boss King said: “Tom and Matty will improve the quality we have and bringing in two full-time footballers is a further sign of my desire to try and drive the club forward.
“I would like to thank my Board for their support in this deal and going forward hopefully we can continue to build on the relationship we have made with Accrington Stanley.
"It has been a long, drawn-out process but I would like to thank (Accrington manager) John Coleman, Ged Brannan and Andy Gray for their patience and desire to help myself and the club."
Scully, who is a former Everton scholar, spent two seasons on a professional contract at Norwich City before joining Stanley in 2020.
The 22-year-old Scouser has captained the club's U23s and recently agreed a contract extension until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
He said: “I am buzzing to be here, the manager has been great with me and he played a huge part in me wanting to join Carrick.
“I will give everything on the pitch between now and the end of the season and I can’t wait to get going.”
Carson, who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool and then Burnley, signed his first professional contract when he joined Accrington last July.
The teenager, who came off the bench to make his senior debut in an EFL Trophy tie in October, said: “I am looking forward to getting out in front of the fans and getting started.”
