While the usual smart suits, military-style outfits and prestigious garments were just some of the amazing fashion on show at the King's coronation. But many, including Carole Middleton and First Lady Jill Biden, instead opted to wear statement blue outfits to the ceremony in a look that many are sure to want to duplicate.
Carole Middleton, the mother of the Princess of Wales, wore a stylish cobalt blue coat dress with matching headband, whilst the First Lady wore a cornflower blue pencil skirt and jacket.
It is thought the First Lady wore blue to match with the yellow outfit worn by granddaughter Finnegan Biden in order to represent the colours of the Ukrainian flag and show solidarity with the country.

Others also opted for blue but the suit dress has been a clear favourite at the Coronation. It will also be a popular choice for people looking for something that stands out whilst being a great fit for the lighter summer months.
The Tuxedo Wrap Mini Dress from Karen Millen (£139.30) in cobalt blue is a stunning replica of Carole’s power dress. The website describes the tuxedo-inspired dress as ‘sure to turn heads’ with its sharp tailoring, a waist-defining tie belt and wrap-over lapels.
The Winser London blue fitted jacket (£185) on the Harvey Nichols website also continues the style of the power dress. A description on the website describes it as being ‘designed in our Ponte di Roma fabric, so super stretchy and comfortable’, with soft shoulder pads and a grosgrain ribbon trim on the back collar.
A slightly less pricier alternative comes in the form of a blue shawl lapel blazer (£79.99) from Zara, which features a ‘shawl collar and long sleeves’, alongside matching lining and front flap pockets.
Over on Amazon, the Zilcremo Office Business Suit Blazer comes in at just £21.99, whilst Prettylittlething currently has an elegant blue gold button blazer dress for £32, which is listed as being popular on their website.
Prettylittlething also has a fitted crepe blazer for just £19. Described on the website, PLT said: “This fitted blazer is sure to give your everyday look a chic finish. Shein also has a Unity Double Breasted Blazer for £24.99 and also comes with a skirt. Made of polyester, customers who have previously bought the outfit described it as being 'perfect for my date night' and 'beautiful'
