Former Countdown star Carol Vorderman has revealed that she is a big fan of Lewis Capaldi after she posted a series of backstage videos of herself both with the scottish star and watching him from the side of the stage as he performed at Cardiff International Arena on Wednesday, February 1.
The 62-year-old media personality was with Lewis' own voice coach and Carol's "Scottish sis" Yvie Burnett and pal Katie King watching the 'Pointless' hitmaker on the penultimate night of his UK tour.
She captioned the post: "What a great night... OMG Lewis @lewiscapaldi you're amazing. Backstage with my Scottish sis @yvieburnett....Lewis voice coach (and to Sam Smith too....she's one of the best in the world....and I love her to bits. Inspired my girl @katie.science to get her guitar out again and do some open mic gigs."

In one of the videos, Carol and Lewis were seen fangirling over eachother, with Carol saying to the camera: "Look who I'm with."
Lewis replied: "Hello everybody on the internet..." Carol interjected and gushed: "He was bl**dy amazing..."
"I was average at best," he said modestly as Carol giggled, before he pointed to Carol and said: "But thank you very much. C Vorders in the building. There you go. We love it."
Yvie responded to this post saying: "How brilliant to have you both at work with me. What a fun night."
Fans were quick to rush into Carol's comments mentioning their love for both the singer and the television star - who has been hitting the headlines recently with her political standpoint and also her relationship status.
