Carol Vorderman sent This Morning fans into a frenzy today when she rocked up in a pair of knee-high boots for Halloween.
The mum-of-two, 61, burst onto the set as 'Lady Vordermort', leaving Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and fashion guru Gok Wan stunned.
Sporting a red mini dress, matching leather boots, cloak and terrifying make-up, Carol boomed: "Harry Potter! What a boy who lived. Come to die!"
A bemused Holly interjected saying: "Um...Carol Vorderman, is that you? What are you doing?"
"I am Lady Carol Vodermort," Carol announced as Phil and Gok burst out laughing.
The star continued: "Only I will live forever!"
Pointing out her apparent faux pas, Phil, dressed up as Uncle Fester, reminded the maths whizz the theme for today's show was The Addams Family.
"Oh...yeah...um sure, right ok," Carol said before musing: "In that case I'll just nip off to Loose Women. Nice to see you."
"You make a very sexy Voldermort by the way," Holly said as the Countdown star left the set to which Phil echoed: "Best ever".
Carol's appearance sent Twitter into meltdown with many fans congratulating the Pride of Britain host on her performance.
One said: "OMG Carol Vorderman! Go on girl!"
While another tweeted: 'HA HA HA HA HACAROL coming on as Voldermort, fair play to her!"
This Morning underwent a major Halloween transformation to celebrate the annual celebration.
The set was decked out with an Addams Family twist while the hosts and guests were dressed up to the nines.
Alison Hammond was a vision as the freaky family's mother, Morticia Addams while segment host Steve Wilson played her husband Gomez.
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby also got into the spirit, taking on the roles of Uncle Fester and Wednesday Addams.
Then there was cousin ‘Knit’ and Pugsley Addams, played by How to Look Good Naked star, Gok.
Other stars getting their spook on were Phil Vickery, Gyles Brandreth, and Matthew Wright, who were all sporting scary outfits.
Many fans loved the Halloween special and took to Twitter commending the show for its efforts.
One impressed viewer tweeted: "Ahh they look brilliant and so does the studio! Love it!!!"
However, others were slightly less impressed, with one saying: "Already getting on my nerves."
While another moaned: "Time to switch off. When is this going to end?"
