Carol Vorderman has given a realistic insight into the 'glamour' of working away.
Working in showbiz can involve a lot of travel as stars are chauffeured around the country for work, and the former Countdown star is no exception to that. Taking to Instagram on Thursday evening the 61-year-old posted "the reality of living in one city but working in another".
She shared a video with Snow White's Hi Ho Hi Ho, It's Off To Work We Go playing in the background. It showed her laptop, a bag, food on her lap and coffee in a flask as she travelled in the back of her car.

Carol captioned the post : "THIS IS NOT A GLAMOUR POST. The reality of living in one city but working in another. I travel A LOT. On today's job I'm lucky enough to be given a driver for the journeys to and from London.
"Which means the back seat becomes my office in the morning and an early sleepover bed later tonight. So it's coffee and water and my favourite dark Rye @ryvitauk for breakfast. Pillow makes a great table in the mornings too."
Despite it not being as glamourous as most would expect, the TV personality had no qualms with it. She added: "I do this two or three times a week. It buggers up my sleep but it's life as I know it and love it. I'm a lucky woman."
Some fans couldn't understand why Carol chose to travel that way. Leo said: "Bugger, are the trains not working?" Another user said: "Back seat driver!"
Lee said: "But, you have an amazing camper van. Though I expect the parking in London is more expensive than a hotel anyway."
