Carol Vorderman has penned a love letter to Bristol whilst showing off her latest workout session. The former Countdown star, 62, often shares glimpses into her life in the city with her Instagram followers, recently showing everyone that she was on a spring morning walk in her pyjamas.
The I'm A Celebrity campmate has resided in the affluent area of Clifton for 16 years. On Sunday morning, May 21, she shared how she was hardly relaxing on the day of rest, as she worked out in the gym.
After throwing weights around in the gym, Carol indulged in Clifton's cafe culture, drinking a cup of coffee from ANNA Cake Couture on Boyces Avenue in the sunshine. "Sunday Bristol style with yours truly," Carol captioned the carousel.

"5am sitting listening to the birds outside. 6am carried on working on a synopsis for a book I'm writing...
"9am off to the gym at @the.gymset for a sesh oooffffff. I love Clifton Bristol."
"It's alive with students and chilled people hanging out doing their thing," Carol added. "So much busier nowadays than when we moved here 16 years ago but just as beautiful.
"Got my coffee from @annacakecouture. Resisted the cakes and macarons.... ha. Time to get back to that book... I am the luckiest woman alive you know....I really am....love this thing called life in all its light and fire."
Carol's words struck a chord with some of her followers. "You are an inspiration, you look great, as does the place you're in," said one fan. "Grey skies & rain here in the middle of Ireland."
Another wrote: "You are awesome Carol. I'm 53 and you inspire me to get my a** in gear again."
"You are a true inspiration on how life should be lived," commented a third. "Virtually send me some of your mojo pleeeeeeeeeeeease xx"
Carol's idyllic Sunday morning in Bristol is a far cry from her recently televised time in the I'm A Celebrity... South Africa camp, alongside a host of other famous faces from throughout the show's history. The mum-of-two was booted out of the show shortly before the final, alongside former royal butler Paul Burrell, after being pushed to her limits in gruelling Bushtucker Trials by presenters Ant and Dec.
