Carol Vorderman has hit back at Jeremy Clarkson after the former Top Gear presenter described her as “awfully shouty”. In his column in the Sun on Saturday, Clarkson wrote a piece entitled ‘Me thinks Carol doth protest too much’.
Welsh TV and radio personality Vorderman regularly used her socal media platform - she has over 730,000 Twitter followers - to air her views and opinions on a range of issues including social and political matters. This week she spoke about the needs of menopausal women during a meeting of the Women and Equalities Select Committee, and was highly critical of the Minister for Women’s Health, Maria Caulfield. She also regularly hits out at the Conservative government and said of former health minister Matt Hancock that the 'han' was silent.
