Clifton resident and Countdown legend Carol Vorderman has arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse for day four of Cheltenham Festival. The 61-year-old has stepped out under the glorious blue sky to make the most of a sunny day at the races.
Carol is a firm fan of Cheltenham Festival, having made countless appearances at the major event over the years. In 2017, the proud van owner hit headlines after she touched down at Cheltenham Racecourse in style, co-piloting a helicopter to the grounds.
And although she may have entered in a more conventional way today, Carol has certainly not compromised on her style. Rocking a longline beige coat to keep the chill off, Carol looks sophisticated and fashionable.

Underneath, Carol is donning a black ensemble, composed of a turtleneck top, long leather skirt, tall leather boots and leather gloves. The star is wearing what appears to be a tweed fascinator on her head, complete with pheasant feathers.
The Pride of Britain Awards host is all smiles today, and has shared her excitement with fans on social media. Posting a snap on her Instagram story with 'legendary trainer' Michael Dickinson and his wife Joan, Carol wrote: "Can't wait to be with these two today #goldcup"
250,000 racegoers are expected to pass through Cheltenham this week. Plenty of celebrities have turned out to the often star-studded Gloucestershire event this year, after the 2021 occasion went ahead without spectators.

Royal and celebrity guests always attend the Festival's week of festivities.. This week's high profile guests have included Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, former This Morning host Eamonn Holmes, and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams.
Unfortunately, yesterday, there was yet another equine fatality. Mindsmadeup became the 71st horse to die at the Cheltenham race week since the year 2000.
On Tuesday, the first day of the Festival, Shallwehaveonemore died following a fatal fall. In response to the fall, AnimalAid called for an end to all horse racing - saying Cheltenham 'should be the first on that agenda'.
