Carol Vorderman was "almost arrested" by Penny Lancaster during a rally yesterday.
The former Countdown presenter was taking part in a rally for the menopause mandate at the House of Parliament in London. While on her way there, she told her Instagram fans that she hoped to "pressurise the government" into doing more for women.
Standing on her soapbox, mic in hand, she asked a crowd what she had to do to get arrested. The 61-year-old said: "I'm a numbers geek and I want to know what I have to do today to get arrested?"

But she was interrupted by special police constable and model Penny Lancaster, who shouted: "I can arrest you!" Carol burst out laughing as she said: "Oh! Bloody marvellous.
"Come on, arrest me. Come on! Give it a good shot."
The crowd erupted into laughter before Carol continued her speech. She said: "It's about time that we were more angry."
Captioning the clip, which she shared to Instagram, the numbers whizz wrote: "Speaking today at @menopausemandate and I very almost got arrested by @pennylancaster."
