Carol McGiffin was forced to explain her appearance as she took her seat on the Loose Women panel. The TV star was back alongside Kaye Adams, Brenda Edwards and Nadia Sawalha for Thursday's show (March 2). And after they all walked onto the set and took their seats at their usual table, talk quickly turned to Carol's face.
Carol was prompted by Kaye to explain the reason for her "seriously red face" as she appeared make-up free on the ITV lunchtime programme. And she was quick to point out it wasn't because she'd had a cosmetic procedure. "It looks like I've had a cosmetic procedure or something but I haven't," she exclaimed.
"I woke up with a seriously red face, itchy, so I've got no make-up on," the 63-year-old went on to say before Kaye commented: "It's gone better from this morning though. You had an antihistamine didn't you?"
