Carlos Baleba: Manchester United make £65m move for Brighton midfielder

  • Brighton are seeking a higher fee for the 22-year-old Cameroon international, but negotiations between the two clubs are progressing.
  • United revived their interest in Baleba after missing out on alternative targets Mateus Fernandes, Elliot Anderson, and Atalanta 's Ederson .
  • An ankle injury currently affecting Baleba is not anticipated to prevent the transfer from going through.
  • The club have already signed Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos this summer, but need further midfield depth following Casemiro 's departure and recent injuries.
