Carlo Ancelotti has hinted Real Madrid will not make any midfield signings this summer amid their supposed interest in Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham.
Madrid are reportedly in the race alongside Liverpool and Manchester City to sign the Borussia Dortmund and England star.
But Ancelotti has revealed that Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are in talks over extending their respective deals beyond the end of the season and is expecting the experienced midfield duo to remain in the Spanish capitsal.

Los Blancos also have the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Dani Ceballos at their disposal in the engine room, whom Ancelotti is tipping to spend many years at the Bernabeu.
The former Everton boss said: "They (Modric and Kroos) are discussing it with the club. There are news. They will solve all the matters.
"The quality of Modric, Kroos and (Karim) Benzema is unique. You won't find that on the market. I believe Modric, Kroos and Benzema will be here next season.
"Modric, Kroos and Benzema are special. You have to evaluate them by what they do, not by the age. Maybe they don't have the physique of youngsters, but nobody in the world can handle the games like them.
"Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde and Ceballos are the future of this club. Modric, Casemiro and Kroos are irreplaceable, that's why Real Madrid will have to change and play differently."
Spanish journalist Sergio Santos also reported this morning that Madrid are "increasingly far" from Bellingham, which could open the door for Liverpool to make a strong move this summer.
The Reds are expected to undergo a major midfield rebuild once the window opens. If they were to sign the 19-year-old, it would almost certainly be a club record deal./
