Carlo Ancelotti has already confirmed one player who will start for Real Madrid at Anfield on Tuesday night in the Champions League last 16 match.
The match between the Reds and Los Blancos is a repeat of the 2022 final in May with Madrid coming into the tie as favourites, but Liverpool will still believe they can knock the reigning champions out.
Ahead of the clash on Merseyside, Ancelotti has some injury issues in his squad, but he has confirmed right-back Danny Carvajal will be starting under the lights on Tuesday.

Captain Karim Benzema was left out of the La Liga win over Osasuna on Saturday due to fitness concerns, but he is expected to come into the starting line-up on Tuesday. There are said to be significant doubts over midfielders Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni.
“Carvajal is going to play at Anfield," Ancelotti stated in a post match interview with Marca.
Ancelotti has tried to rest and rotate his players ahead of the Liverpool trip after facing double the fixtures of Jurgen Klopp's side due to playing in the Club World Cup.
