Arsenal's transfer business is finally in full swing after they completed a deal to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton. Jakub Kiwior is set to fly to London and complete a medical ahead of a £17.5million move to the Emirates Stadium from Spezia, football.london understands.
A new attacker, left-sided centre-back and central midfielder are on the Gunners' transfer agenda this month which has led them to enquiring about Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga. The young Frenchman has found it hard to nail down a regular starting spot since arriving in Madrid, sparking speculation over his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Premier League leaders are keen to add reinforcements whilst in a position of strength and had hoped to take Camavinga on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old's agent has since denied rumours linking his client with a switch to north London.

Camavinga’s agent, Joshua Barnett, revealed that there is "no truth" in reports linking his client with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Barnett told transfer guru Fabrizio Romano: “There’s no truth. Of course every club in the world would want him. He’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga.”
Carlo Ancelotti has now doubled down on these claims by issuing an update on the Frenchman's future. The Real Madrid boss said: "He is untouchable. Like [Luka] Modric and like [Toni] Kroos."
it looks as though the Gunners will need to target alternative players in the January transfer window or wait until the summer to reinforce their midfield.
