Carl Starfelt on the spot over Celtic team mates as defender backs himself against Kyogo and Juranovic

Carl Starfelt has revealed some interesting details about his Celtic teammates from fancying himself to be the fastest in the team' to lauding Tom Rogic for being the most skilful.

He also has some big praise for a certain unsung hero.

The 26-year-old summer recruit was the latest to speak to Celtic TV in an attempt to give fans a deeper insight into the personalities inside the Parkhead dressing room.

Starfelt believes it could be a close race between several of his teammates but there's every chance he would be the one to come out on top.

He said: "I know Mikey Johnston is fast. I think I would also have a go. Probably [Josip] Juranovic also, yeah.

"Maybe Kyogo [Furuhashi] as well. I think he's very fast like first five metres. He's very fast but over a long run, I think I'd have a chance actually."

When quizzed on who is the most skilful, the Swedish defender added: "I think maybe it's between Tom Rogic and Jota I would say but I will pick Tom Rogic actually.

"It looks like he doesn't have great control of the ball on the pitch but he always gets his touches right in the end when he's like floating through players. So I will pick him."

And it was a perhaps a surprise who he names as the funniest in the squad. A certain unsung hero, Scott Bain.

Bain has been very much a fringe player this season, making just two Scottish Premiership appearances.

“I would say it is Scott Bain. He has very good stories and he often tells them in the dressing room," Starfelt revealed.

"They are usually very funny so I would say him.”
