Carl Starfelt bats away Celtic criticism as he insists they are 'not giving the opposition chances'

Defiant Carl Starfelt insists Celtic remain in good for despite slipping up against Hibs and Bodo/Glimt.

It's been a disappointing week for the club despite holding on to top spot in the Premiership.

The stalemate at Easter Road game just days after the return from the Arctic Circle which saw Celtic crash out of the Europa Conference League 5-1 on aggregate.

But Starfelt was keen to focus on the positives and the learning curve under Ange Postecoglou going into the clash with St Mirren.

Ahead of facing Stephen Robinson's side, he said: "I think we are playing good. We are not giving the opposition too many chances.

"We have been playing with each other for a while now and I think we are getting very comfortable with each other.

"I feel like we have a lot of players in good shape as well. I feel that I am in good shape and I am enjoying my football.

"I think I am developing like all the other players who we have talked about before.

"It is a different style to what many players are used to and it is different demands with a different coach. You have to adapt to them.

"I feel like I am adapting more and more and I feel like I am in a good place. I feel more secure in my game than I did a couple of months ago and that's good."
