A furious carer smashed her love rival's window and damaged a car with a golf club in a drink -fuelled incident.

Joanne Tompkinson, 41, had been drinking when she showed up at an address with her former partner's golf club and some eggs.

The carer used the club to break a window at the Bradwell property before smashing up the car, causing £5,468.52 worth of damage in total, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
