A Merseyside care home was placed into special measures following concerns about residents' safety.
Waverley Care Home on Waverley Road Aigburth has been deemed "inadequate" by the CQC after their latest inspection. The care home which currently looks after 16 people had been given a rating of "requires improvement" in their four previous inspections.
The report raised concerns over cleanliness with only one bathroom available as the shower had been in need of repair for 10 months. This meant that there were "insufficient bathing facilities" for the people living in the home.
