Cardinals WR Marquise Brown defends Ravens QB Lamar Jackson by calling out false narrative

The Baltimore Ravens shocked the NFL world on the first night of the 2022 NFL draft, trading away wide receiver Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals along with pick No. 100 in exchange for the 23rd overall selection. Brown was Baltimore’s No. 1 wide receiver, so moving on from him was a big deal, especially considering how close he and quarterback Lamar Jackson are off of the field.

There have been plenty of false narratives that have been formulated about Jackson over the course of his career. One of them is the assumption that wide receivers don’t want to play with the former league-MVP. Brown defended Jackson on Twitter when being tagged in a tweet about the idea, saying that the narrative is “ridiculous”.
