Cardinals’ O-line suffers more injuries as Kyler Murray’s return nears

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to make his return to the starting lineup this next week when the team hosts the Atlanta Falcons. However, he might have to play behind an offensive line not at full strength.

Two more linemen got hurt in the team’s 27-0 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

An offer for Cardinals fans

Starting right guard Will Hernandez left the game with a knee injury and left tackle D.J. Humphries exited with an ankle injury.

That is on top of Elijah Wilkinson, who started at left guard for the first six games of the season, who is on injured reserve with a neck injury, and Trystan Colon who started at left guard in Weeks 7-8 before going down with a calf injury.

Murray is coming back from a torn ACL. The Falcons had four sacks on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Cardinals need Murray back in the lineup, but they also need him protected. Hopefully, the injuries to Hernandez and Humphries are not serious enough to make them miss the game next week.
