The NFL combine begins this week. It is the next phase in pre-NFL draft evaluations. Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar has a new first-round mock draft. The Chicago Bears don’t take a quarterback first overall, opting to take Ohio State receiver Marvin Harris first overall.
That means the Arizona Cardinals will have to go a different direction with the fourth overall pick.
Below are the projections for the Arizona Cardinals with their two first-round selections.
No. 4 pick: LSU WR Malik Nabers
Nabers has length, playmaking and athleticism. Some like him even more than Harrison. If it weren’t for Harrison, Nabers would be the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in the draft for most.
Pick No. 27: Washington OT Troy Fautanu
With D.J. Humphries tearing his ACL in the last games of the season, the Cardinals need a new tackle.
