A day after Brian Flores interviewed in Berea for the defensive coordinator job with the Cleveland Browns, he now gets an interview request for a bigger role. The Arizona Cardinals have now requested to interview the former Miami Dolphins head coach for their vacant head coaching role after they hired Kliff Kingsbury.
Should Flores get the job, he would be the second defensive coordinator to come off the table for the Browns as Jerod Mayo is now staying in New England as well. The Browns still have Sean Desai and Jim Schwartz on their list, but may need to begin casting a wider net.
