The Arizona Cardinals face the Cleveland Browns this weekend and attempt to extend the length of time it has been since they last lost to them to more than 20 years.
While the Browns hold a commanding lead in their all-time series, it has been a long time since they beat the Cardinals.
It has been 20 years.
The last time the Cardinals lost to the Browns, it was 2003. Kelly Holcomb was the Browns’s starting quarterback and went up against Jeff Blake for the Cardinals.
In that game, Holcomb threw three touchdown passes while Blake and Josh McCown combined for no touchdown passes and three interceptions in a 44-6 win.
Since then, the Cardinals have won the last 5 meetings, including the last two in Cleveland.
The Browns lead the all-time series 33-16-3, dating back to 1950. The Browns won the first 12 meetings.
