As of the beginning of Week 13, the Arizona Cardinals (4-8) would have had the No. 7 pick in the 2023 NFL draft had the season ended then. They were idle in Week 13, getting their bye, so their record did not change.
However, their spot in the draft order has changed.
According to Tankathon, the Cardinals would now have the No. 8 overall pick if the season ended now.
The Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars both are also 4-8 but old the sixth and seventh picks because their strength of schedule is weaker than Arizona’s.
This is the top 10 of the 2023 draft were the season to end today.
