The Arizona Cardinals had the day off on Tuesday but evaluators were still busy. According to the NFL transaction report, they had three players in for a tryout on Tuesday. They brought in two cornerbacks and a wide receiver.
Who were they?
They brought in cornerback Chris Wilcox, a 6-2, 195-lb cornerback who was on the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad earlier this year. He was drafted in the seventh round in 2021 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of BYU and spent parts of the last two seasons with the Colts on their practice squad.
They also brought in cornerback Jordan Miller. He is 6-2 and 190 lbs and drafted in the fifth round in 2019 by the Atlanta Falcons. He has appeared in 12 games in the NFL and spent time with the Falcons, Saints, Bills and Seahawks.
The one receiver they brought in was Auden Tate. He is 6-5 and 228 lbs. He was drafted in the seventh round by the Bengals in 2018. He spent four seasons in Cincinnati, catching 61 passes for 799 yards and two touchdowns. His best season was 2019 when he had 40 receptions for 575 yards and a score.
He spent time with the Eagles this season.
