The Arizona Cardinals added a pair of players to their practice squad this week. They announced the signing of receiver Dan Chisena and cornerback Williams Hooper.
Chisena has size at 6-foot-3 and 203 pounds. He entered the league in 2020 undrafted out of Penn Ste, signing with the Minnesota Vikings. Between 2020-2022, he played 27 games with the Vikings, logging 11 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams. He was on the practice squad earlier this season with the Vikings after being with the Steelers in the preseason.
Hooper is 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He went undrafted this year out of Northwestern State, signing with the Green Bay Packers and spending the preseason with them. In his college career, he appeared in 46 games, starting 33 of them, and had 100 tackles, three interceptions, 21 pass breakups, two sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
