The Arizona Cardinals announced three roster moves on Saturday, adding three players to the active roster to be available when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road.
With receiver Zach Pascal not making the trip after the birth of his child, the team signed receiver Dan Chisema from the practice squad to the active roster. He was recently added to the practice squad.
He presumably will play mostly on special teams and perhaps will fill Pascal’s limited role on offense.
The team also used standard elevations to promote defensive lineman Phil Hoskins and cornerback Divaad Wilson to the active roster.
Hoskins’ move gives the Cardinals five defensive linemen for the game. Kevin Strong, questionable to play with a knee injury, must be ready to go.
Cornerbacks Antonio Hamilton and Starling Thomas were both ruled out with injuries so Wilson is elevated for the second straight week. He replaced Thomas in the game last week.
The Cardinals and Steelers kick off Sunday at 11 a.m. Arizona time.
