The Arizona Cardinals are a bit shorthanded heading into today’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. So far this season their best playmaker has been running back James Conner. However, he’s currently on their IR list with a knee injury. Franchise quarterback Kyler Murray is practicing again but he’s also out this week, as he’s still on the PUP list.
However, Arizona is getting a key piece back in the lineup against Seattle. Yesterday the Cardinals activated former Huskies safety Budda Baker.

With Murray sidelined Baker is the best player on Arizona’s roster. In 94 career games he has posted 32 tackles for a loss, six forced fumbles, 7.5 sacks, seven interceptions and 15 quarterback hits, demonstrating his ability to make an impact across the board. Baker has made five Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams.
