A woman celebrating her 40th birthday has won big at the bingo having not played the game in years. The lucky winner - who has not yet been named - got a present to remember as scooped the whopping £50,000 jackpot after her numbers came up.
The woman, who is thought to be local to Cardiff, had been celebrating her birthday with her husband, brother and friends at Club 3000 Bingo in Gabalfa on Saturday evening (August 13) when she won the life-changing sum. To make her achievement even more remarkable, she had only joined the club on the night, having not played bingo for years.
Incredibly, it is the second time in less than three months that somebody has scooped the £50,000 jackpot on the National Bingo Game at Club 3000. Get the latest news from Cardiff sent straight to your inbox for free by signing up to our newsletters.
