Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival full street food line up as it returns for 2022

It's that time of year again for one of the Welsh capital's most popular summer events as the Cardiff Food and Drink Festival gets underway, showcasing some of the country's sizzling street food vendors and mouth-watering culinary masterpieces.

Over the course of three days, friends and foodies will come together to celebrate the best of local produce, traders and, of course, food, glorious food.

Returning after a two-year hiaitus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the festival will be anchoring its roots once again in the famous Roald Dahl Plass from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3.

Of its welcome return, Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Events, Cllr Jennifer Burke-Davies, said: “The Food and Drink Festival has long been one of Cardiff’s most-popular events and it’s been missed by many over the last few years, so we’re delighted to see it return to Cardiff Bay this summer.”

With traders old and new in attendance, the food on offer will not just hail from Wales but bring dishes from cultures across the globe throughout the weekend - come rain or shine. From gin to gyros and fudge to fries, there will definitely be something to fill everyone's bellies with.

Here, we've put together a simple guide to the Cardiff Food and Drink Festival 2022, including timings, vendors and entertainment.
