Isaak Davies has looked "brilliant" in training and is exciting the team-mates who have not yet played with him, Cardiff City manager Mark Hudson has said.
The Wales under-21 international was meant to be fit by the time the season started, having sustained a knee injury towards the end of the 2021/22 campaign, however Hudson revealed the forward suffered a setback on his road to recovery, meaning he has now missed more than four months of this term.
Davies turned out for Cardiff under-21s last Saturday in their narrow defeat by Wolves, but it was his first taste of competitive football since May 7. And while Hudson said Davies won't be available for Stoke City this weekend, he could be in contention for Blackpool.
