Cardiff City are set to sign two players in the coming days - with former Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo a prime target.
The Bluebirds are at the start of a new era under boss Erol Bulut, with the Turkish manager keen to put his own stamp on the Bluebirds squad by bringing in up top 10 signings this summer.
He is, however, hamstrung by Cardiff's transfer embargo - which has recently been reduced from three to two windows - with free and loan signings his only avenue until January.

Two such signings are believed to be close, with WalesOnline understanding both will be in attendance at Cardiff's friendly against The New Saints at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night.
Ugbo, who would be a loan signing from French club Troyes, is rumoured to be one, while the other could potentially be Dimitrios Goutas, who has previously represented Vincent Tan-owned club Kortrijk. He currently plays in Turkey for Sivasspor.
The Bluebirds are believed to have held interest in former Blues man Ugbo from last January when they brought in Sory Kaba and Connor Wickham. Scottish giants Rangers have also kept tabs on the 24-year-old Canada international.
Ugbo has had spells with Barnsley, MK Dons, Scunthorpe United, Roda JC and Cercle Brugge while on loan from Chelsea before joining Genk permanently in 2021.
A loan to Troyes then followed, which transferred to a permanent move last year.
