Didn't have much to do in the first half, but then made a couple of good saves and collected some dangerous crosses after the break. Will be disappointed letting in a goal at his near post.
Mahlon Romeo 6
Bombed up and down that right-hand side. Caught out once or twice defensively but was excellent in attack. Put in a couple of very dangerous crosses.

Perry Ng 7 (star man)
Made one goal-saving header to take the ball off of Iliman Ndiaye's forehead early on. A calm head and a very good display.
Cedric Kipre 6
Kept United's dangerous forwards quiet for the most part, barring one errant pass which allowed James McAtee in. A welcome return for the centre-back.
Niels Nkounkou 4
Was decent in City's attack down the left early on, but, like Romeo, was found wanting a few times at the other end of the pitch. Had his pocket picked for George Baldock's goal.
Ryan Wintle 7
Had one stonking effort from 30 yards which whistled wide of the post. But showed just why they missed him against Hull, ticked things over well and stopped the Blades' midfield playing.
Joe Ralls 6
Like Wintle, made some crucial interventions defensively and began a number of City's dangerous attacks.

Tom Sang 6
Was picked to keep the dangerous Oliver Norwood quiet at the base of the visitors' midfield and did a decent enough job. Passed nicely without setting the world alight.
Callum O'Dowda 6
Was involved in most of the positive things that happened going forward and struck up a fantastic partnership with Robinson. Hit a number of dangerous crosses and passes into the box. Faded a little when moved to left-back.
Mark Harris 7
Was brilliant at keeping hold of the ball under pressure and got himself into good positions. Had one thunderous volley fly over the bar and almost tapped into an empty net after nicking a bad backpass past Wes Foderingham.
Callum Robinson 6
A little bit of a frustrating one, because 90% of the things he did were brilliant, but that final 10% was missing. Had a number of efforts on goal but couldn't find the back of the net.
Subs
Rubin Colwill (Harris 63) 6 - Showed some neat touches and tried to ignite Cardiff's attack.
Sheyi Ojo (Nkounkou 72) 6 - Actually got himself into some very good positions but, like all his team-mates, couldn't hit the killer pass or the back of the net.
Gavin Whyte (Ralls 72) 6 - Didn't too much wrong but hardly stood out after his introduction.
Andy Rinomhota (Sang 77) 6 - Defensively did well after his introduction and retained possession well enough.
