Ryan Allsop 6
Made an excellent save to deny Greg Docherty in the first half. Some fans nearby wondered whether he could have got to Hull's second.
Mahlon Romeo 5
Looked a little jittery with the ball at his feet and misplaced too many passes in the first half. Influence grew in the second half.

Perry Ng 6
Another who just looked a little uncomfortable at times. Usually so reliable with his passing but even his radar was off.
Curtis Nelson 4
Was at fault for Dimitrios Pelkas' goal, allowing him in front of him, while his block from Greg Docherty's shot almost looped over Allsop. But, to his credit, started to improve after the break. Then made a poor header and lost his man for Regan Slater's second..
Niels Nkounkou 5
A few inaccurate passes, as you would expect. And with Cardiff on the back foot for most of the time he was on, couldn't affect the game higher up.
Andy Rinomhota 5
Didn't see a whole lot of him in attack nor defence. But neat and tidy enough when he needed to be.
Joe Ralls 6
Same as above, really, in the first half. But it was his pressing of Jean Michael Seri which led to Robinson's goal. But was spun by Slater for his first goal.

Romaine Sawyers 4
Was just a passenger for the most part. When Cardiff were up against it they needed more energy in that advanced role. Mark Hudson recognised it and replaced him with Harris.
Callum O'Dowda 5
Cut a frustrated figure at times owing to his lack of involvement. Found himself defending a lot early on.
Sheyi Ojo 4
Just not falling for him at the minute. Cannot quite get things to click in that final third. Lost the ball in the build-up to Hull's second. A night to forget for him.
Callum Robinson 7 (star man)
Hull did an excellent job at keeping him quiet early on. He tried to run in behind but struggled for quality service. But he needed just one chance to score after excellent play from Ralls and floated a fantastic ball into Whyte for his goal.
Subs
Gavin Whyte (Nkounkou 58) 7 - Made an instant impact and you could sense the delight from fans inside CCS. Buried his header to score his first of the season for the club.
Mark Harris (Sawyers 58) 6 - Didn't see a great deal of him but made those important runs into the corner to pick up possession.
Rubin Colwill (Ojo 77) 6 - Could tell he was trying his utmost to make an impact. Won a couple of corners and was neat enough in possession.
