Nathan Jones and Sean Dyche have been installed as the early frontrunners by the bookies to become Cardiff City's next manager.
The Bluebirds announced on Sunday that they had parted company with boss Steve Morison after a poor start to the season. Cardiff sit 18th after 10 games of the campaign, having lost to managerless Huddersfield Town on Saturday. You can follow live updates here.
The news came out of the blue, with Cardiff releasing the following short statement: "Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that first-team manager Steve Morison has been relieved of his duties.

"We’d like to thank Steve for his efforts during his time at Cardiff City, stabilising the first team last season and helping to evolve our squad in line with the club’s philosophy this summer. We wish him the best for the future.
"Mark Hudson will oversee first-team affairs at this time, assisted by Tom Ramasut, whilst the club considers options for the position."
Bookmakers have been quick off the mark in formulating their candidates for Morison's successor, with Rhondda boy Jones - a Bluebirds fan - the early market leader at 4/1.
Dyche, who has been out of work since leaving Burnley last season, is placed at 5/1, with former City boss Neil Warnock at 6/1.
Tony Pulis, Paul Warne and Cardiff coach Mark Hudson make up the next in the running, which also includes former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.
