Here are your Cardiff City headlines for Wednesday, May 31.
Oscar Garcia on Bluebirds shortlist
Spanish manager Oscar Garcia is on the list of potential bosses to take over at Cardiff City.
Italian journalist Matteo Moretto posted this afternoon that Garcia, who most recently managed French club Reims, is wanted by both Cardiff and Swansea City.
We also understand Garcia is on a shortlist of candidates for the two Welsh rivals. The former Brighton and Watford boss once took the Seagulls to the Championship play-offs and has won various trophies abroad.
Garcia played for Barcelona and Valencia in his playing days, while his managerial career has seen him take charge of the likes of Red Bull Salzburg, Saint Etienne and Olympiacos.
Cardiff have looked domestically and abroad and have whittled down their short list, with Garcia understood to be one of the names on it as the process to appoint Sabri Lamouchi's successor begins to move at a pace.

Palmer: McGuinness 'would jump' at Owls move
Sheffield Wednesday legend Carlton Palmer has claimed that Mark McGuinness would "jump at the opportunity" to re-join the Owls after their promotion to the Championship.
Wednesday sealed a dramatic return to the second tier on bank holiday Monday after Josh Windass' extra-time winner over Barnsley saw them win the play-offs.
McGuinness, 22, was a huge part of the Owls' success last term, having enjoyed a stellar half-season loan with the Hillsborough side before being recalled by Mark Hudson in January.
The Republic of Ireland youth international was a mainstay for the Bluebirds upon his return, helping them avoid relegation down to League One.
Now Wednesday have achieved promotion, though, Palmer believes they should go back in for the centre-back – and thinks the price tag wouldn't be an issue. Given he is arguably Cardiff's biggest asset, though, the Bluebirds would likely demand a major fee.
"Mark McGuinness enjoyed a fine spell at Sheffield Wednesday on loan from Cardiff City in League One before being recalled," Palmer told Football League World.
"He then played every game he was available for and helped Cardiff to survive. McGuinness only has a year to run on his contract, he's young at 22 and he can play in a three or a four.
"I think this would be a great acquisition for the Owls and I think he would jump at the opportunity. In the position that Cardiff find themselves in, I don't think the price tag would be too unrealistic."
Josh Low: Sad to see Cardiff's struggles
Former Cardiff City midfielder Josh Low has spoken about the Bluebirds' struggles in recent years after his Cardiff-born son was selected for the Wales squad.
Low Jr — Joe — plays for Bristol City, but Josh, who played for Cardiff for three years either side of the millennium, admitted he still follows the Bluebirds from afar.
"It's sad to see their struggles this season. I do follow it from a distance, although I do watch Bristol City quite a lot these days, with my son being there," Low told the BBC.
"I've been down to watch Cardiff a few times and I played with Steve Morison, one of the recent managers, so I know him fairly well.
"Hopefully, now that they've avoided relegation this season, they can get a new manager in, give him some time to build a squad and improvements for next season. Then, hopefully, they can start kicking on up the table and back to where we all hope they should be, in and around the Premier League."
Big season ticket sales
Despite two frustration-laden years and uncertainty regarding the manager, Cardiff City fans have still signed up for their season ticket renewals.
Bluebirds supporters have had to endure managerial changes, squad overhauls and a woeful home record over the last few seasons, but City's loyal and passionate fans' appetite cannot be satiated, it seems.
This morning the club announced that season ticket sales have already surpassed 10,000. Given the current situation the club finds itself in, that is a mightily impressive feat.
With a new manager and transfers on the horizon, that number will only rise, too. A rare positive amid this temporary — but seemingly ever-lasting — state of purgatory.
