Here are your Cardiff City headlines for Thursday, November 3.
Hudson full of praise for Philogene
No player has come out of the last two games with more credit in the bank than Aston Villa loanee Jaden Philogene.
He produced a match-winning turn in the victory over Rotherham United on the weekend and was rewarded with a start against Watford on Wednesday night.
He was the best player in a blue shirt at Cardiff City Stadium, despite the defeat against the Hornets, producing the Bluebirds' best opportunities outside of the set-piece goal they scored.
Philogene produced moments of individual brilliance which got City high up the pitch and caused the visiting defence a number of issues. His slaloming runs and bag of tricks point to the confidence which is coursing through his veins at the minute. He is a real weapon and Cardiff hope to see a lot more of it between now and the end of the season.
“I said from the last game he’s got individual quality," Hudson said of Philogene.
"He can do things that take the eye. He’s got one-v-one moments, he’s creative, he gets a shot off, he has end product. And again, you can see him cramping at the end, he’s worked his socks off. For someone to play through that and play right to the end."

Bilic: Cardiff are the best team we have faced
Watford manager Slaven Bilic has once again heaped praise on the Bluebirds following the clash at Cardiff City Stadium.
Heading into the match, the Hornets boss branded Cardiff "electric" and said he had been mightily impressed with how they have played in recent matches, which hadn't included red cards.
And, after the 2-1 win for Watford, Bilic said Cardiff were the best team he had faced since taking charge of the Hornets last month.
“We lacked something of a cutting edge, because I think the game was there to be taken, but I have to take my hat off to the team for defending together and holding onto the lead. It’s a tricky place to come and it’s a great result," he said of the match.
“I was disappointed with how we started, and the character we showed has to be there from the start of every game. We’re asking them to show in matches what they’re showing in training.
“I think we deserved the win in the end, and we are missing a lot of players. We don’t have such a big squad right now, and the boys worked hard.
“Cardiff are a good side, as well. I told the guys that this is the best team we have faced so far. They weren’t so aggressive tonight - maybe because of the early goal - but we have to be happy with the win that sets us up nicely to go again on Saturday.”
Davies and Adams unlikely to play before World Cup
Rubin Colwill might be in contention for Cardiff before the World Cup break, however Isaak Davies and Ebou Adams are unlikely to feature until December at the earliest.
"Isaak and Ebs, I don't see them getting game-time before the World Cup, but they are back on the grass, which is pleasing," interim boss Mark Hudson added.
"Isaak is stepping up his rehab on the grass, with the physios, and he has dipped in and out of some training sessions. But he has been out for a while, he is not to be rushed.
"Ebs has completed a lot of his protocols that he has to go through. He is another one we have to push through the World Cup and we look forward to seeing him when he's back."
