Here's your round-up of all the latest Cardiff City headlines for Wednesday, March 29.
Nelson opens up on Cardiff exit
Curtis Nelson has discussed his January transfer move from Cardiff City to Blackpool.
He told the Blackpool Gazette: “The move has done a lot for me.”
“It’s helped me on a personal level playing games and being back to playing regularly. It’s not about what it’s done for me though, it’s about what I can do to help the football club.”
“Blackpool is brilliant. I’ve not seen much sun here though!”
Nelson has featured in 10 games for Blackpool since his transfer, scoring one goal.
Cardiff prep for derby day amid concern over duo
Cardiff City have begun preparations for Saturday's South Wales derby with Swansea City, with Sabri Lamouchi clearly still sweating on two potential injury worries.
The club posted a few training pictures on their social media ahead of the upcoming clash with their arch rivals, with Irish duo Callum O'Dowda and Callum Robinson seemingly nowhere to be seen.
O'Dowda pulled out of the Republic of Ireland squad for the recent defeat to France, while Robinson has been out for the last few weeks with a hamstring injury.
Lamouchi was clearly hopeful of perhaps having the latter available after the international break, but doubts over both players remain ahead of the weekend.
The Cardiff boss will shed more light on the situation when he faces the press on Thursday morning.
Evans helps Torquay to victory
Loanee Kieron Evans started for Torquay United in the National League last night, helping them to a 1-0 win against Boreham Wood.
The win was The Gulls’ first in eight and is a vital three points in their quest for survival. They currently sit on 34 points, six points from safety with eight games remaining.

Lawlor scores deciding goal for Wales Under-17s
Cardiff City’s Dylan Lawlor scored the equaliser for Wales Under-17s as they qualified for the European Under-17s Championship.
A 2-2 draw against Montenegro was enough for qualification. This is the first time that a Wales age group has qualified for a tournament since the 1981 UEFA Under-18 Championship.
The squad also included Gabriele Biancheri who left Cardiff City for Manchester United in the January transfer window.
FAW Chief of Football Dave Adams told BBC Radio Wales Sport that it was “an unbelievable achievement.”
“We play in Hungary now in the finals tournament – it is an unbelievable shop window.”
“All we can do is give the players the opportunity, the platform, and we are doing that pretty well I think.”
