Rapper Cardi B has threatened legal action against Alex Bruesewitz, an adviser to US President Donald Trump, after he alleged she had ties to a company linked to claims about a bot campaign involving fellow artist and rival Nicki Minaj.
The dispute began with a now‑deleted post by Bruesewitz on X. Bruesewitz suggested that journalist Jason Beeferman, who brought attention to a report by tech firm Cyabra about an army of bots pushing #NickiMinaj’s latest conservative stance, was connected to Cardi B’s camp. Bruesewitz called Beeferman a “fake news hack” and claimed he “is partnered with Cardi B’s agent”.
