Cardi B says she doesn't want her kids to grow up privileged or feeling too comfortable

Cardi B says she doesn't want her children growing up with too much privilege.

The Bodak Yellow star, 29, shares daughter Kulture, four, and Wave, 10 months with rapper Offset.

Cardi is one of the biggest rap names around, but she came from humble beginnings and wants her kids to appreciate that.

"They need to know to never feel comfortable. Don't ever feel like, 'I'm going to get it because I'm Cardi and Offset's kid.

"Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it's more respected — especially when people see that you bust your a*s for it," she told Vogue Singapore.

The rapper gave birth to Kulture in 2018 just as her career was taking off after the release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy.

Cardi said people were "nervous" that becoming a mother would affect her fame, but she assured them she would be alright because she'd have a nanny.

However she decided against getting a nanny for her daughter because she was "afraid of anybody being around her besides my family".

The star then credited her own mother for everything she'd done for her as she said: "I've never appreciated my mum more — having kids helps you see things a little bit different."

The rapper and Offset welcomed their son Wave in September last year, but now Cardi has opened up on her plans to go under the knife again.

Taking to Instagram last month, she informed her 136 million followers of her intentions after she initially got liposuction in 2019.

Pinching her stomach for the camera, she mused: "This stomach, is giving tummy tuck.

"Like, it’s not bad, but I just don’t like this extra little skin. I am a little heavier than usual, but I don’t like it, I want to get rid of it. I think Wavey like … did me wrong."

As she gears up to release her new album, the star added: "I cannot wait to put out this song and do more things so I can get the f*** out and do my f***ing surgery. I’m over it.

"Me and surgery goes [sic] together bad. We go together real bad."

The musician has previously been open about having cosmetic surgery, revealing she's had liposuction, breast augmentations and butt injections.

Cardi told Interview Magazine she had her boobs done at 18, before getting her "a*s done", and added: "Then I felt super confident."
