Cardi B has had enough of life in the limelight and has told anyone who has ambitions to be famous to avoid it at all costs.
The rapper, 29, took to Instagram Stories in the aftermath of the Met Gala afterparty to warn her followers against pining for fame, admitting she's "sick of it".
In the live chat, she told her followers she felt as thought she was a prisoner of fame and claimed to have not been able to be her true self since 2014.
She said: "Let me tell you something. If y'all ever wish to be rich and famous don't wish to be famous. Wish to be rich."
She continued her rant saying: "I feel like God cursed me with fame... Fame is just like, urgh I hate it here.
"If I could click my f***ing feet three times and go back to f***ing 2013, when I was just a regular b***h dancing and making money every single night, that's where I want to be.
"This whole go by the book stuff, gotta watch what you say, gotta watch what you do, this is not me, this is ridiculous. I don't understand how I always get in trouble."
It comes after a video went viral on social media of Cardi performing at a Met Gala afterparty she hosted.
In the clip, Billie Eilish was seen turning to a pal and mouthing: "This is so weird."
After the clip caused chaos on social media and had fans wondering why Billie wasn't feeling it, Cardi posted to Twitter saying she "hated the internet" for creating unnecessary drama.
She went on to post voice clips of the pair having a conversation about the incident, proving there was no falling out.
Cardi wrote: "I hate the internet cause one, how do y'all turn one of the most lit parties into drama? Two, Ocean eyes is the song I cater to my daughter.
"Three, Billie is my f***in baby. Yesterday from the met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do yall wanna turn everything into a mess?"
In the voice memos, Billie can be heard clarifying that she was calling people taking videos of Cardi weird and not the star herself.
She said: "I was f***ing calling the people around you weird because everybody was coming up to you and shoving their phones into your a**.
"And I was like, 'just look at her, with your eyes.'"
